Write for Lou
Running a comedy business does not leave Lou with much time to do funny stuff so he needs one or more writers.
ASSUMPTIONS - You:
- Understand the difference between written and oral-delivered humor
- Understand basic joke structures and the element of surprise
- Are willing to write mostly clean jokes
- Will watch some of Lou's videos to come up with material that fits Lou's style
(Lou's goal is to have six laughs per minute and to have the audience laughing 30% of the time)
MATERIAL TO SUBMIT:
- Single jokes
- Series of jokes on a new theme or topic
- New punchlines or tags for topics that Lou is already using
PAYMENT: Lou wants to amply reward you for your work (but can't afford to give away the farm).
RIGHTS: If Lou pays you for material, you will give him the exclusive rights and not submit it to others.
